Match Number One: Jimmy Jacobs with Steve Corino versus Mike Bennett with Bob Evans
Bennett pie faces Jacobs but Jacobs won’t be pulled into that situation. He does it again and Jacobs shows restraint. Jacobs with a punch but Bennett with kicks and punches. Bennett kicks Jacobs in the corner. Jacobs sends Bennett into the corner and he kicks Bennett. Bennett with an Irish whip but Jacobs tries for a boot but Bennett blocks it and puts Jacobs in the ropes and hits a back breaker. Bennett punches Jacobs and sends him into the turnbuckles.
Jacobs with a head scissors that sends Bennett to the floor. Jacobs misses a pescado when Bennett moves out of the way. Bennett thinks about a dive to the floor but he stops before doing the dive. Bennett sends Jacobs into the apron and then they return to the ring. Bennett with a back breaker followed by a slam and he gets a near fall.
Bennett with punches to Jacobs and he gets another near fall. Jacobs fights off punches by Bennett but Bennett with a kick to the chest. Jacobs with a few clotheslines followed by a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Bennett with punches to Jacobs and he puts Jacobs on the turnbuckles.
Jacobs with a tornado move off the turnbuckles into a suplex for a near fall. Jacobs returns to the turnbuckles and he leaps over Bennett. Bennett with a spinebuster for a near fall. Bennett wit ha kick to the midsection but Jacobs with a springboard cutter for a near fall.
Jacobs goes up top for the back senton but Bennett gets his knees up and Bennett with the Box Office Smash for the three count.
Winner: Mike Bennett
After the match, Bennett wants Jacobs to shake his hand as part of the Code of Honor but he rubs Corino’s head while shaking Jacobs’ hand and Corino does not appreciate that behavior.
